Arsenal have confirmed the signing of England international, Eberechi Eze, on a long-term contract, bringing the 27-year-old back to north London where his football journey first began

The attacking midfielder, who rose through Arsenal’s academy before making his name at Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace, arrives after a five-year spell at Selhurst Park in which he made more than 150 appearances and played a pivotal role in the club’s historic FA Cup triumph earlier this year.

In May, Eze etched his name into Palace folklore by scoring the decisive goal in their 1-0 FA Cup final win over Manchester City.

Eze’s career has been one of steady progression. After shining in the Championship with QPR—where he was named Player of the Year in 2020—he moved to Palace that summer and developed into one of the Premier League’s most dynamic playmakers.

On the international stage, he has earned 11 senior England caps since his debut in 2023, scoring his first international goal in a 3-0 victory over Latvia during the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

All these were disclosed in a statement on the club’s website on Saturday.

Sporting Director Andrea Berta said: “We are so pleased to have completed this deal to bring Eberechi to Arsenal. Eberechi is a creative and explosive talent with huge technical quality – also a big-game player, with his experience at international level with England also underlining his quality and character.

The England international will wear the number 10 shirt and is set to link up with his new teammates after Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Leeds United this weekend.

The move remains subject to regulatory processes, the statement concluded.
