Arsenal lifts the Premier League title
Arsenal went 22 years with lifting the English Premier League title, but the Gunners jinx ended when the lifted their coveted trophy on Sunday at Selhurst Park, but the North London giants will now switch attention to the Champions League final this coming weekend, where they will take on PSG.
Bruno the assist king
Thierry Henry and Kevin de Bruyne had the record for most assists in the Premier League (20), but Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has now set his own standard, after hitting his 21st assist of the season, making him the player with the most assist in the league.
Hull City are back
Hull City are back to the Premier League, thanks to a 94th minute winner from Oli McBurnie, to hand them a 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough in the Championship playoff final. Hull are now back in English top flight football after nine years in the lower tier.
West Ham United have gone down
West Ham United’s 14-year stay in the Premier League ended on final matchday, and despite defeating Leeds United 3-0 at the London Stadium, it was not enough, as Tottenham Hotspur also recorded victory at home against Everton.
Ronaldo is now an SPL champion
Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo has now helped his side win the Saudi Pro League for the first time in almost a decade, following their 4-1 win over Damac, with the Portuguese star scoring two of the goals.
Hamilton with another podium finish
Lewis Hamilton seem to be enjoying life with Ferrari, as he finished on the podium for the second time this season, following an impressive Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, in the Canadian Grand Prix. He finish behind Andrea Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes.

The top three strikers in world football today did not disappoint their fans, as all three win the top goalscorer award in their respective leagues. Harry Kane scored 36 goals to win the top scorer award in the German Bundesliga, while Erling Haaland scored 27 goals in the Premier League, and Kylian Mbappe hit the back of the net on 25 occasions in the La Liga.
