Harry Kane has been awarded the European Golden Shoe for the 2025/26 season after finishing as Europe’s leading league goalscorer
The England captain earned the prestigious individual award following another prolific campaign with Bayern Munich. The European Golden Shoe is presented to the leading goalscorer across Europe’s top domestic divisions each season.
Kane scored 73 goals across the season, including 12 for England, matching his best international return since the 2021/22 campaign. The former Tottenham Hotspur striker also made history at the 2026 FIFA World Cup as England recorded their best-ever finish at a men’s World Cup staged outside Europe.
During the tournament, Kane became England’s leading goalscorer in FIFA World Cup history after first equalling and then surpassing Gary Lineker’s record. His performances also moved him into joint fifth place on the all-time FIFA World Cup goalscorers list.
The award adds another individual honour to Kane’s prolific career and further underlines his goalscoring form for club and country.
