Nominees best men’s goalkeeper as Courtois and Donnarumma lead race

Some of the world’s top shot-stoppers have made the 2025 Ballon d’Or Yachine Trophy shortlist, including Liverpool’s Alisson Becker, Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois, and PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma

Also nominated are Morocco’s Yassine Bounou and Lille’s Lucas Chevalier, all recognised for their outstanding performances over the last season.

The award honours the best goalkeeper in the world each year and is named after the legendary Soviet keeper Lev Yashin.

The winner will be announced at the Ballon d’Or ceremony later this year.
