Brazil winger, Vinicius Junior passed the 100-goal mark with Real Madrid. The forward made it 101 strikes in the win against Salzburg at the Santiago Bernabéu, where he made it 4-0 in the 55th minute after a brilliant individual move and 5-0 in the 76th minute with a delightful finish inside the box. After the match, the player said: "I'm delighted to reach 100 goals with this shirt. Now I'm only three behind Ronaldo, the Brazilian with the most goals. I hope I can continue like this and mark an era in this team, it's my dream.”

Since opening his Madridista account against Valladolid in the 2018/19 campaign, Vini Jr. has been instrumental with his goals in the 14 trophies he has won. He has scored eight goals in the 13 finals he has appeared in for Real Madrid, including goals for La Decimocuarta and La Decimoquinta.

His 101 goals have been scored as follows: 58 in the La Liga, 28 in the Champions League, 7 in the Copa del Rey, 4 in the Spanish Super Cup, 3 in the Club World Cup, and 1 in the Intercontinental Cup. His most prolific season was last year, with 24 goals, and in the current season, he has 17. He has also netted four hat-tricks as a Madridista, three of which came in 2024.

Speaking on his incredible feat, Vinicius said "I hope I can continue like this and mark an era in this team, it's my dream," said the forward, whose brace against Salzburg takes him to 101 goals as a Madridista.
