The Royal Spanish Football Federation has confirmed the semi-final fixtures for the 2025 Spanish Super Cup
Defending champions Barcelona will battle Athletic Club, while Real Madrid face city rivals Atletico Madrid in the other semi-final clash, Lagiga disclosed this on its website on Monday.
This year’s tournament will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from January 7 to 11, with all matches scheduled for the King Abdullah Sports City, now a regular venue for the competition.
Barcelona head into the contest as holders after Hansi Flick’s men crushed Real Madrid 5-2 in last season’s final to seal a historic Treble.
The revamped format of the competition, introduced in 2019, features four teams: La Liga champions and runners-up, alongside the Copa del Rey finalists.
