Chelsea manager speaks on Garnacho’s exit rumours

Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior has dismissed speculation linking Alejandro Garnacho with a summer exit, questioning the credibility of recent reports and stressing his focus on the player’s development 

According to Fabrizio Romano on X on Tuesday, responding to rumours about the Manchester United winger’s future, Rosenior said: “I’d like to know the source of the report.

The Chelsea gaffer went on to highlight Garnacho’s potential and importance to his development at this stage of his career.

“Garna is 21. Garna is someone who has special qualities when he is in a good place and he’s in good form,” Rosenior explained. “And my job is to help him reach those levels.”

The comments come amid circulating reports suggesting uncertainty over Garnacho’s long-term future, though Rosenior made no indication that any exit is being considered or discussed internally.

Instead, the emphasis of his message was firmly on coaching responsibility and performance consistency, with the manager underlining that his priority remains helping the young winger reach his best level rather than engaging in transfer speculation.
