Former Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos has become the new owner of Spanish La Liga club, Sevilla
This is according to European transfer expert and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano (via Daily Sports) on his X handle on Tuesday. The final details of the deal will be disclosed later, but it is already known that Ramos’ brother, René, oversaw the entire process.
At this stage, the deal is practically done, with both parties ironing out the last minor details before the official announcement.
Sevilla is Ramos’ boyhood club, where he began his journey in top-flight football back in 2002, rising through their academy ranks. In 2005, Ramos left Sevilla for Real Madrid, but in 2024, he returned for a single season before departing again as a free agent.
